Upcoming Activity

COOKING GROUP:
This Wednesday, February 10 at Nathaly Baxter's house at 7pm. The theme will be centered on Valentine's foods. Get some creative ideas for the upcoming holiday to spice up your weekend!

THANK YOU!

First of all, thank you to the many people who helped with the funeral services for Loretta Dalton on Saturday. The family greatly appreciated all the food and preparations on their behalf. And as a Relief Society Presidency, we were very impressed and grateful for the many helping hands with the food and set-up that made it all possible. To add to Lisa Marshall's testimony today, it is truly amazing what we all can do together when we unite as sisters. That love and support is what we're here for.

Also, thank you to all those who participated in the Relief Society activity on Tuesday! To everyone who helped with preparations, you did an amazing job! The set-up was beautiful, the desserts were delicious, the skits were comical, and best of all, the message was beneficial and guided by the spirit. Hopefully, we can all remember how to better serve each other as visiting teachers and build good relationships with each other. If you were unable to attend, you can get a copy of the wonderful handout and magnet by contacting a member of the RS Presidency.

Sister Spotlights

We'd like to welcome Darlene Ngauamo to the ward! Darlene is from Idaho, while her husband is from Tonga (and yes, he is very into rugby). These two met at BYU, Hawaii and it was "love at first sight". They both graduated with their bachelors and have been married for 2 1/2 years! Darlene enjoys reading, swimming, and especially writing. She is working on some books and is hoping to publish them in the near future. Good luck!

Welcome to Kara Palmer and family! Kara and Eric have been married for 6 1/2 years (congratulations!) and have two very cute boys: Thomas, who is an outgoing 4 year old, and his mellow little brother Ethan, age 2. The Palmers come to us from California. Eric is an LPN and Kara works in Optometry. Kara enjoys scrapbooking and rock-climbing.

See you TOMORROW!

Ladies,
Let's not forget about our awesome Relief Society activity on Tuesday, February 2 at 7pm. There will be a "brownie bar and other sweet surprises" - including a skit, which promises to be hilarious. Plus, it's a great opportunity to get to know each other. There will also be a Children's Class.
See you there!
