FYI, there is now a link to Sister Anne Brown's blog (joyclass.blogspot.com) on our blog.  Anne runs a class about overcoming depression and increasing joy in simple ways. Some of her friends wanted to participate, so she started a blog where she posts brief educational snippets and the activities they do in class. People can participate, even if they don't come to the class, by commenting and reporting on what makes them happy or how the activity worked for them.  Feel free to click on the link or go to joyclass.blogspot.com to participate, or just learn more!

Stake Women's Conference

We will be having our Stake Women's Conference and Luncheon on February 26th from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon.  We will post specifics on the place as soon as we know! 

Stake Family History Fair

Our stake will be having a Family History Fair on Saturday, January 29th from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm at the church.  This will be a great opportunity to get a jump start on your family history or get some help/information on how to enhance what you are doing now, so we hope that lots of us will be able to attend!

Financial Stewardship Seminar

We have the wonderful opportunity to have Dr. Israelson, a professor at BYU and father of our own Sara Hartley, present a Financial Stewardship Seminar at our next Relief Society mid week meeting.  It will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 11th at the church and baby sitting will be provided.  This will be a great meeting to attend, especially in these tough economic times and should be extremely informative.  Hope to see lots of you there!
