While setting up for baby Ty Kiefer's funeral last night, we were able to speak with the family more directly. They believe that the funeral will go longer that estimated. Therefore, this is the new schedule for the funeral:
Ushers should arrive at 11:30 am
Viewing at 12:00pm
Family prayer at 12:45 pm
Funeral begins at 1:00 pm
Food should arrive by 2:45 pm
Luncheon for family begins around 3:00 pm (so servers should arrive by that time)
Clean-up will begin around 3:45 or 4:00 pm
Thank you for you help and cooperation. It is so difficult to know very far in advance for these things because the family has so little time to plan it. The service itself is going to be beautiful. Ward members are invited to both the viewing and the funeral but asked to fill in from the back of the back of the chapel during the funeral in order to leave plenty of room for the family.
